Disable DHCP on Cradlepoint Router

Jesse Rothschild

How do I use a router without DHCP enabled?

On Cradlepoint routers, the built-in DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) Server is used to assign IP addresses to computers and other devices on your local area network (LAN). Under certain circumstances, it may be necessary to operate the router with DHCP disabled. This article describes the procedure to configure the Cradlepoint router and a client computer accordingly.
