Telit Wireless Solutions, a leading provider of high-quality M2M modules and value-added services, announced its LN930 LTE data card is now certified to operate on the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network.
The LN930 is a single data card, based on Intel’s XMMTM7160 chipset that supports international frequencies for LTE and HSPA+ bands, including LTE FDD; UMTS/DC HSPA+ and GSM/GPRS/EDGE.
Intel has validated Telit’s data cards for use in Intel-based PC (e.g. Ultrabook and two in1) and Tablet platforms. The LN930 also facilitates the deployment of a wide-range of other tablets, notebook computers, e-readers and other devices on the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network.
Mike Ueland, President of Telit Americas, believes the LN930’s data card certification will prove beneficial for the company’s customers.
“With the nation’s most expansive LTE coverage, Verizon certification is a huge step toward deployment for our customers. We are now equipped to support personal computing-type devices as never before,” said Ueland.
In addition to the high data throughput from LTE Cat3 and multi-band frequency support for global coverage, the LN930 provides integrated GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System), low power consumption, and support for multiple Windows OS releases (7, 8 and 8.1).
As the M2M and IoT market continues to grow exponentially, Telit Wireless Solutions and Verizon are committed to delivering products that propel M2M innovation to even greater heights.
